CNN’s Brian Stelter hailed Hunter Biden’s new memoir as “extraordinary” and “breathtaking” during his show Reliable Sources Sunday.  Among the revelations in his new book, the 51-year-old son of the president writes that he first bought crack cocaine at age 18. He first fell in love with alcohol in high school and started drinking heavily after work in his 20s.

“I’ll tell you what, I’ve read a lot of memoirs, I’ve never read a memoir like this one before,” Stelter told viewers. “Take out the last name Biden, this is about addiction, and how to help people and it’s going to resonate for that reason.”

Biden writes that his addictions entered a particularly dark phase after Beau died of brain cancer in 2015.

“You’ve heard all the tabloid coverage, you think you know his story, we know that right-wing media is obsessed with him,” Stelter said. “This book. This book is about addiction. About how many times Hunter Biden could have died, the president’s son, it’s breathtaking.”

President Joe Biden’s son Hunter dodged several questions in a new interview about his laptop that was seized by the FBI in 2019.

Hunter Biden told CBS News in an interview clip released on Friday that he has “no idea whether or not” the laptop belongs to him, but acknowledged that it was “certainly” a possibility, before raising several other theories.

Piers Morgan Explains Good Morning Britain Exit To Tucker Carlson

“Morgan also gave aspects concerning his decision to depart the show, which came down to his unwillingness to apologize for his comments on Meghan.”

Former “Good Morning Britain” host Piers Morgan made his first public appearance since departing the show last month when he was a guest on Tucker Carlson’s Fox Nation show “Tucker Carlson Today.”

The Hill relayed the comments from the interview as Morgan didn’t change his stance on criticizing statements made by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and her husband, Prince Harry, during their interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Furthermore, Morgan touched on what happened on the morning show’s set when weatherman Alex Beresford confronted him on the comments directed towards the couple.

“It was an outrage. I wasn’t allowed to have an opinion that I didn’t believe what she was saying, even though it was clear to me in real-time as I was watching the interview that there were a number of things which couldn’t be true,” Morgan told Carlson.

“I was angry in the moment that he was trying to personalize this, make it I had some personal vendetta about Meghan Markle, which I don’t. And I came back. And we then had a pretty lively and quite enlightening, like half hour debate about this.”

Morgan also gave aspects concerning his decision to depart the show, which came down to his unwillingness to apologize for his comments on Meghan.

“I should be able to be a journalist and question the veracity of those statements. And frankly, I should be allowed in a democracy that values freedom of speech; I should be allowed to say, I’m sorry, I don’t believe you. But I wasn’t. I wasn’t allowed to do that,” Morgan said.

Megyn Kelly Flips the Script, Blames Liberal Media for U.S. Capitol Violence

Kelly admitted that the message coming from the White House could have contained less rhetoric. “But it’s not going to change how divided we are here in America because Trump was the symptom of those divisions, not the cause of them.”

Conservative personality Megyn Kelly is trying to turn the tables on CNN and other media outlets by blaming them for the deadly riots that took place at the U.S. Capitol on Jan 6.

Kelly made her comments to BBC Newsnight on Saturday.

“Part of the reason we saw what happened at the Capitol here two weeks ago is because there had been a complete lack of trust in the media,” said Kelly. “People don’t know where to turn for true information, they don’t trust the media anymore.”

Kelly left Fox News in 2017 following a feud with Trump. She was fired from NBC News in 2018 for controversial comments about blackface.

Kelly admitted that the message coming from the White House could have contained less rhetoric. “But it’s not going to change how divided we are here in America because Trump was the symptom of those divisions, not the cause of them.”

British journalist Hugo Lowell reacted to Kelly’s assessment of the Capitol siege. “I’m sorry but I’ve never heard anything so ridiculous as Megyn Kelly saying on BBC Newsnight that Trump mobs attacked the Capitol because they didn’t trust the media — not Trump lying that the election was stolen.”

Kelly said the media would stop at nothing to ruin Trump even if it meant deceiving the American people.

“They hated him so much, they checked their objectivity, and it wasn’t just CNN, all of them did. They just couldn’t check their own personal feelings about him,” Kelly said.
